AFC Energy has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Saudi Arabia’s Machinery Group, under which the company’s H-power generators will be marketed and sold across the Middle East and North Africa, it said Monday.
The London-listed hydrogen technology company said Machinery Group–which trades as Tamgo–will market and sell or lease AFC Energy’s zero-emission hydrogen fueled H-power generators to end customers in the industrial and off-grid power markets in Saudi Arabia, as well as in 16 countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
With a rental power market value projected to increase to $3.2 billion by the end of 2030, the Saudi and Middle Eastern markets are a key part of the company’s growth strategy, AFC Energy said.
“We have been collaborating with Tamgo and the Zahid Group for the past two years and believe this dealership agreement reflects our common vision to become the largest dealer of hydrogen fuel cell generators in the Saudi and MENA regions,” Chief Executive Adam Bond said.
