Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the added 1.06%, while the index gained 0.91%, and the index gained 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the were Zalando SE (ETR:), which rose 6.45% or 1.32 points to trade at 21.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (ETR:) added 2.56% or 1.84 points to end at 73.68 and Daimler Truck Holding AG (ETR:) was up 2.32% or 0.74 points to 32.67 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Symrise AG Inh. O.N. (ETR:), which fell 2.17% or 1.98 points to trade at 89.34 at the close. Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) declined 1.04% or 0.12 points to end at 11.46 and RWE AG ST O.N. (ETR:) was down 0.94% or 0.31 points to 32.73.
The top performers on the MDAX were Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which rose 4.89% to 60.48, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was up 4.70% to settle at 27.75 and Gerresheimer AG (ETR:) which gained 4.66% to close at 102.10.
The worst performers were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which was down 4.15% to 26.08 in late trade, Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (ETR:) which lost 1.73% to settle at 38.65 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 1.73% to 25.00 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 3.29% to 62.08, Cancom SE O.N. (ETR:) which was up 2.51% to settle at 25.32 and Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which gained 2.49% to close at 201.50.
The worst performers were ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which was down 2.08% to 7.25 in late trade, Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which lost 1.73% to settle at 25.00 and Aixtron SE (ETR:) which was down 1.17% to 33.01 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 419 to 232 and 85 ended unchanged.
Shares in RWE AG ST O.N. (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.94% or 0.31 to 32.73.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 5.76% to 17.51.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.73% or 13.30 to $1,845.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.39% or 0.32 to hit $82.63 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.48% or 0.40 to trade at $84.47 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 105.81.
