Axcella Health said it would enact a 1-for-25 reverse stock split effective Sept. 19. The biotechnology company is seeking to become compliant with the Nasdaq Global Market’s minimum bid price requirement. Shares fell 25% to 75 cents after hours.
eGain swung to a profit in the fiscal fourth quarter, with adjusted earnings per share of 11 cents topping the company’s guidance of 7 cents. The automated customer engagement company’s revenue rose 5% to $24.6 million, also beating the company’s forecast. Shares advanced 8.1% to $6.80 after hours.
Frequency Electronics swung to a profit in the fiscal first quarter after taking on cost-cutting plans and reorganizations. The company reported revenue of $12.4 million, compared with $8.2 million a year earlier. Shares rise 9.1% to $7.17 after hours.
