CytoSorbents said Chief Financial Officer Alexander D’Amico resigned, ending his short-lived tenure with the company.
The Princeton, N.J.-based biotechnology company and D’Amico agreed to terminate his employment with the company, among other terms of the agreement. His resignation as financial chief was effective as of Aug. 28
D’Amico became financial chief on Aug. 7. He succeeded Kathleen Bloch, who CytoSorbents said would retire and continue as a consultant as part of the transition. Bloch will continue to serve as interim financial chief as part of the existing consulting agreement following D’Amico’s resignation.
